Klaipeda Skydiving Club was founded by a few folks fascinated by the sport in 1997. Their wish to fly free was supported by some experienced skydivers from another Lithuanian DZ's and by the local airport management.

Since the very beginning of Skydive Klaipeda, our main goal is popularization of skydiving in our region, and steady growth rate of club regular membership is at least 3 persons per year. Today we are 17 skydivers, united not only by our passion to this wonderful sport. Family celebrations, a lot of work with first-time jumpers, participation in demo actions, aviation fiestas, and a lot of skydiving related fun - have made our club not only the sports place, but our preffered leisure place with a healthy atmosphere as well.

Our regular plane is An-2 and Cessna 175. Club facilities include an aircraft parking area, club house, packing area, video room, shower, sauna, kitchenette. Our guests are welcome to stay owernight at our club house, just bring your sleeping bag with you. We are jumping without clear scedules - very often we just come to DZ on weekdays after office hours and log in one or two jumps just for fun. First-timers are coming to the DZ on weekends mainly - then it might be getting quite crowdy here - process of instructions, parachute packing and jumping is just boiling on. And nothing but a sunset jump to the beach is bringing that feeling of perfect relax after the busy parachuting day. Well - sauna, beer and BBQ Saturday night helps too…

As most of our club members like travelling to friendly drop zones in Lithuania and abroad - you are welcome to visit Skydive Klaipeda as well.
